July 11, 2026

Indian forces’ personnel continued their crackdown in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), carrying out coordinated raids and cordon and search operations (CASOs) in Baramulla and Samba districts under the pretext of maintaining security.According to Kashmir Media Service, Indian police conducted coordinated searches at multiple locations in Baramulla district, targeting the houses of pro-freedom activists in the Kreeri, Boniyar, Kamalkote and Kunzer areas.

During the raids, Indian police harassed family members and seized house and bank-related documents, besides confiscating several electronic devices, including mobile phones.Meanwhile, personnel of the Indian paramilitary Centre Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Special Operations Group (SOG), and Railway Police launched a massive cordon and search operation (CASO) and area domination exercise in the Nonath Khad, Ghagwal and adjoining areas of Samba district, including the nearby railway track.

Indian forces carried out extensive searches at various locations in these areas, claiming the operation was intended to prevent anti-India activities and strengthening the so-called security grid.Notably, raids, house searches and CASOs have become a routine feature in IIOJK, with Kashmir watchers saying such operations are used to intimidate civilians, spread fear among local population and suppress dissent under the guise of security measures.
