Indian forces’ personnel in a fresh act of state terrorism, martyred two more Kashmiri youth in Poonch district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. According to Kashmir Media Service, the youth were killed in a fake encounter by Indian forces in the garb of a cordon and search operation, launched by Indian army in Kasiliyan and other  areas of  the district. The  operation continued till last reports came in.  Locals rejected the Indian army’s claim and asserted that the youth were innocent and killed in a fake encounter. 

They mentioned that the BJP-led regime is using such staged encounters to deflect criticism, particularly from the Opposition during the ongoing debate on failed Operation Sindoor in Indian parliament. The timing of these fake encounters, the locals added, is very significant as Modi regime is increasingly under fire from the Opposition on ‘Sindoor debacle’.  Earlier on Monday, the troops martyred three youth in a staged encounter in Dachigam area of Srinagar district.
