The All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) has said that the Indian occupation establishment have broken all records of human rights violations in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. According to Kashmir Media Service, APHC spokesman Adv Abdul Rashid Minhas in a statement issued in Srinagar said those who speak on Kashmir resolution, peace, and against BJP govts brutal policies are implicated in different false and frivolous criminal cases by the Indian BJP regime which has badly hampered freedom of speech and expression in the disputed territory.
APHC said that India under the barrel of a gun colonized Jammu and Kashmir against the aspirations of the people and was hell-bent to colonize the hearts and minds of the people by using all brutal and violent policies. The silence of the international community on atrocities on Kashmir has left the occupation authorities scot-free to disempower Kashmiris and settle non-Kashmiris in the internationally disputed territory which is going to compromise people’s right to self -determination if allowed unhindered, he pointed out.
APHC spokesman Adv Abdul Rashid Minhas said due to such violent anti Kashmiri actions by Indian BJP regime, an atmosphere of fear and terror has been increased in the entire territory. APHC said thousands of Kashmiris continue to remain in detentions without trial for years in unhygienic conditions which has deteriorated the health of the detainees. The APHC said in recent days, the known fake encounter in Ganderbal of a Kashmiri youth has added more fear and state terrorism in IIOJK.
APHC said the Indian rulers hiding its state terrorism and military occupation on the basis of Hindutva agenda prejudice are using the worst and shameful tactics to connect the peaceful demand of Azaadi based on the right to Kashmiris with terrorism. APHC statement appealed to the United Nations and other human rights organizations to take cognizance of these violations and send a fact-finding mission to the territory to ascertain the situation.
