In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, police raided the house of a Jamaat-e-Islami member in Baramulla district. According to Kashmir Media Service, Indian police barged into the house and carried out searches at the house of Jamaat-e-Islami (JEI) member, Abdul Razak Hajam in Hajam Mohalla, Dardpora Zaloora area of the district.
The operation was part of ongoing house raids under the black law Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA).. The Indian police in a statement said, police conducted a search operation under UAPA at the residence of a Jamaat-e-Islami-linked individual, Abdul Razak Hajam.
