Mirwaiz, Agha Hassan, DFP express concern over reports of drone attack near MakkahBreaking

In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), senior All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) leader Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has expressed concern over reports of a drone attack near Makkah, saying the incident has caused anxiety and concern among Muslims across the world.According to Kashmir Media Service, Mirwaiz, in a post on X, said that the Middle East region is already facing a prolonged conflict, and, therefore, all parties should exercise restraint and immediately return to dialogue and diplomacy.

Meanwhile, senior Hurriyat leader and president of Anjuman Sharie Shian, Agha Syed Hassan Moosavi Al-Safavi, in a statement in Srinagar, also expressed deep concern over the drone attack near Makkah, stressing that the sanctity and protection of Islamic holy sites must be preserved under all circumstances.He said Makkah and Madina are part of the spiritual heritage of the entire Muslim Ummah and that any act threatening or undermining their sanctity is unacceptable.

He called for restraint, responsible conduct and an impartial determination of the facts, and warned against allowing the holy cities to become entangled in military confrontations, political disputes or competition over regional interests. Agha Syed Hassan urged all parties to exercise restraint and ensure that the sanctity and respect of the Haramain Sharifain are upheld at all times.
