Three individuals, including two women and a police constable, died in separate incidents in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK). According to Kashmir Media Service, the body of a young woman, estimated to be 23-year-old, was found in the Belicharana Tawi area of Jammu district. Locals alerted the police authorities after spotting the body near Belicharana Tawi. Police immediately rushed to the spot and shifted the unidentified female body to a hospital for medico-legal formalities.
A case has been registered, and investigation is underway. In a separate incident, a 28-year-old nomadic woman, Jamela Akhter, died after a cloudburst hit the Nunkhull DK Marg in Damhal Hanjipora area of Kulgam district on Wednesday evening. The woman died after she was swept away by the flash floods triggered by the cloudburst. Meanwhile, a police constable, Ruksar Khan, was killed in a road accident on the Mughal Road in the Dograin area of Surankote in Poonch. Officials told the media that a car lost control and crashed, killing the constable on the spot.
