The government of Balochistan has launched a digital financial management system, replacing its previous fiscal processes as part of a public finance reform initiative. The system was formally inaugurated by the province's Chief Minister, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, according to Gwadar Pro.

According to the provincial finance department, the initiative includes e-filing and other digital tools designed to streamline financial management, reduce bureaucratic delays, and increase transparency.

Public sector data on human resources, budgets, and development projects has been integrated into the system. Officials said this is intended to create a unified information portal for policymakers, government employees, and the public.

The goals are to reduce red tape, increase the accountability of civil servants, and improve the ease of doing business to attract investment. An official in Balochistan's Finance Department told Gwadar Pro that the system could foster greater public participation in budgeting and policy if properly implemented.
