Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Jiang Zaidong said China is ready to work closely with Pakistan to lead by example on the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) platform, strengthen multilateral cooperation and advance the Global Governance Initiative.

Speaking at a seminar titled “25 Years of SCO: Towards Fair Global Governance, Shared Sustainable Development, and Multipolar Cooperation”, the ambassador said safeguarding the rights and interests of the Global South requires aligning vision with concrete action.

The seminar was jointly organised by the NUST Institute of Policy Studies (NIPS) and the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China.
