China-Pakistan Training Center launched in Islamabad to empower womenBreaking

February 09, 2026

A new chapter in grassroots China-Pakistan cooperation opened with the inauguration of the China-Pakistan Youth ‘One Heart Sphere’ International Technical Training Center for Women in Islamabad’s PWD area. The launch ceremony was attended by representatives from both countries, highlighting the shared commitment to women’s empowerment and people-to-people exchanges, Gwadar Pro reported on Monday.

The center is a key initiative under the broader “China-Pakistan Youth One Heart Sphere” framework, which focuses on fostering mutual understanding, skill development and sustainable friendship between the youth of the two nations through practical, community-based projects. With the core principle of “Empowering Women, Connecting Friendship”, the facility is designed to provide Pakistani women with a dedicated platform for vocational growth.

By providing systematic, hands-on training in high-demand fields such as tailoring, computer literacy and culinary arts, the center aims to equip participants with tangible skills that enhance their employability and entrepreneurial potential.

An inaugural batch of 20 trainees has already enrolled for the first cycle of the course. Training modules are structured to be practical and scalable, addressing local economic needs while promoting sustainable development. Looking ahead, the center plans to continually refine its curriculum and expand its partnerships with local and international stakeholders.

By doing so, it seeks to further bridge the development gaps, empower more women, and contribute to the enduring strength of China-Pakistan relations—one skill and one friendship at a time.
