The Pak–China Technical and Vocational Institute (PCTVI), University of Gwadar, and Civil Aviation Training Institute (CATI) have recently agreed to jointly launch academic and professional training programmes to enhance students’ practical skills and technical expertise. The initiative will include hands-on training courses led by instructors from CATI, PCTVI, and the Gwadar Institute of Technology (GIT), Gwadar Pro reported on Wednesday.

The decision was made at a meeting held at PCTVI, chaired by Professor Manzoor Ahmed, pro-vice chancellor of the University of Gwadar. Participants discussed curriculum design, faculty collaboration, infrastructure readiness, and resource sharing to ensure the smooth implementation of the planned programmes. Following the meeting, delegates visited various facilities at PCTVI to assess resources and explore further opportunities for academic and technical co-operation among the partner institutions.
