HRL, Chinese firm sign agreement to strengthen industrial cooperationBreaking

Precise Development (HK) Limited of China and Habib Rafiq (Pvt.) Limited (HRL), one of Pakistan’s leading conglomerates, signed a strategic partnership agreement, aimed at strengthening bilateral industrial cooperation. It also aimed at promoting technological exchanges, and expanding investment opportunities between the two countries, Gwadar Pro reported on Thursday. Under the partnership, HRL will gain access to the Chinese market through coordination with ACFIC, facilitating greater business-to-business (B2B) engagement and encouraging joint ventures across industrial sectors.

The collaboration will also promote private-sector participation and support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in fostering innovation and entrepreneurship. Talking to Gwadar Pro Khalid Taimur Akram who is currently hosting B2B basis Chinese Investments in Pakistan highlighted that the agreement is not limited to large-scale enterprises; it also envisions an inclusive framework to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) by promoting innovation, entrepreneurship, and cross-border trade facilitation.

The partnership is expected to open new opportunities for technology transfer, skills development, and industrial capacity-building in Pakistan. Representatives from both organizations emphasized that the initiative aligns closely with the broader objectives of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and the two countries’ shared vision of regional economic integration. The collaboration underscores a long-term commitment to sustainable growth, industrial modernization, and greater private-sector participation in Pakistan’s development.
