More than 10 development projects for Gwadar have been proposed for inclusion in the federal and provincial public sector development programmes for fiscal year 2026-27, a Gwadar Development Authority (GDA) official said.

The proposed list includes feasibility work and construction related to drainage, sewerage and roads in several parts of Gwadar city, upgrades to Pishukan and Surbandar jetties, coastal tourism and beach development, public parks and spaces, housing for doctors at GDA Hospital, and expansion of Gwadar Cricket Stadium, the official told Gwadar Pro.

The official said the proposals were reviewed at a GDA meeting chaired by Director General Moin ur Rehman Khan on Tuesday and would be forwarded to the federal and provincial governments for approval.
