Pak-China Hospital treats over 100,000 patients in first four monthsBreaking

GDA Pak-China Friendship Hospital Gwadar, a state-of-the-art CPEC project managed by Indus Hospital & Health Network (IHHN), treated over 100,000 patients during the first four months of the year, as 31,311 patients were treated in the month of April, Gwadar Pro reported.

According to the latest statistics issued by the hospital on Wednesday, Family Medicine/General OPD recorded the highest patient turnout in April with more than 12,900 OPD visits.

Dental OPD treated around 1,458 patients, including those requiring specialized procedures, while Internal Medicine OPD managed approximately 1,465 patients.

Children’s OPD (Pediatrics) provided healthcare services to 1,405 patients, and Dermatology OPD treated more than 1,200 patients suffering from various skin conditions.

ENT OPD and General Surgery OPD also catered to a significant number of patients through consultations and treatment services.

Specialized departments including Orthopedics, Gastroenterology, and Gynecology OPD continued to provide expert medical care to patients from Gwadar and surrounding districts.

Alongside outpatient care, the hospital also carried out thousands of laboratory tests, radiology investigations, and other diagnostic procedures during the month.

Emergency and inpatient services remained fully operational throughout April, ensuring timely treatment for patients requiring urgent and critical medical attention.

GDA Pak-China Friendship Hospital Gwadar continued to provide modern healthcare facilities, expert doctors, and quality treatment services to citizens during April, contributing to steady improvement in healthcare standards for the local community.

The hospital is providing free medical treatment, medicines, laboratory tests, radiology services, and free meals for admitted patients while serving around 1,100 to 1,200 patients daily.

Hospital statistics showed that 25,525 patients were treated in January, 23,081 in February, around 25,000 in March, while patient visits crossed 31,000 in April, reflecting the increasing public trust in the hospital’s healthcare services.

As per the hospital, its administration and medical staff remain committed to delivering the best possible healthcare services not only to the people of Gwadar but also to the wider population of Balochistan.
