The 9th Pakistan-China Industrial Expo 2025 opened at the Expo Center in Lahore, with more than 200 companies from both countries showcasing products and services to expand bilateral trade and investment. Provincial Minister for Communication and Law Punjab, Malik Sohaib Ahmad Bharth, inaugurated the expo, Gwadar Pro reported. He praised the organizers for “fostering Pakistan-China friendship and attracting foreign investors.”
The event was jointly organized by the University of Sargodha (UoS) and Everest International Pvt. Ltd which was attended by UoS Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Qaisar Abbas, University of Education Lahore Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Akif Anwar, Everest International Director Wang Zehai, CEO Yousaf Fa, Manager Zorain Qeng, Commodore Shafiq ur Rehman and Commodore Mehtab Khan of the Pakistan Navy, as well as several exporters, importers, Chinese company owners, and members of commerce and industry.
Prof. Dr. Abbas said the expo demonstrates the importance of linking academia with industry. “Such platforms bridge the gap between universities and industry, contributing directly to Pakistan’s socio-economic development,” he remarked.
