Pakistani parliamentary delegation, led by National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq now in Beijing had a hectic schedule including high-level talks with Chinese leadership. The delegation was visiting at the invitation of Zhao Leji, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress (NPC).

The visit focuses on strengthening parliamentary cooperation and deepening bilateral ties. The delegation met with senior leadership, including NPC Chairman Zhao Leji and Wang Huning, Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC).

The delegation includes Ms. Romina Khurshid Alam (Coordinator to the Prime Minister on Climate Change and Convenor of the Pakistan–China Parliamentary Friendship Group), MNA Muhammad Numan, Parliamentary Secretary Ms. Zeb Jaffar, and MNA Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri.
