A new medical partnership between Pakistani and Chinese organizations is bringing hope to thousands of impoverished patients across Pakistan. The China-Pakistan Youth Exchange Community joined hands with the Beijing One Heart Sphere Charity Foundation and Fatima Tuz Zahra Medical Center in Islamabad to sign a three-year agreement to provide free medical treatment to those in need.
Under the vision of “Health Without Borders,” this humanitarian initiative will offer healthcare services—including surgeries, medications, and rehabilitation support—to vulnerable groups struggling with medical expenses, Gwadar Pro reported. The program specifically targets emergency care, chronic disease management, and maternal and child health services, with an estimated 3,000 beneficiaries receiving assistance each month.
Established in 2013, the China-Pakistan Youth Exchange Community has consistently worked to improve living conditions in underserved areas of Pakistan through health, education, and basic welfare programs. This new collaboration combines Chinese philanthropic support with local medical expertise through an innovative “technology-driven volunteer network” model to ensure sustainable impact.
The agreement also includes regular patient follow-ups and professional training for medical staff to maximize effectiveness. Organizers expressed plans to extend support beyond the initial three-year period based on the program’s outcomes, potentially benefiting more communities across Pakistan.
