More than 500 students of the China-Pakistan Friendship School Gwadar, also known as the Government Girls High School Faqeer Colony Gwadar, under the supervision of their teachers, have successfully developed a beautiful garden and activity area. The students worked with great dedication to clean, design, and decorate an unused corner of the school. They transformed it into an attractive green space by planting flowers, placing pots, and laying artificial grass.
The area now includes a small seating arrangement made by using simple school benches, where students can sit, read, or enjoy group activities. To add creativity, Naseem Baloch, Focal Person of the China-Pakistan Friendship School Gwadar told Gwadar Pro that the students painted tyres in bright colours and converted them into flower beds and decorative pieces.
“They also decorated the walls with meaningful art, such as a tree with colourful birdhouses and a bicycle mural, which has made the environment lively and child-friendly. Hanging decorations, small planters, and a central flower stand further enhance the beauty of the space,” he added. He said every part of this corner — whether it is the painted tyres, the artificial turf, the colourful pots, or the wall art — was prepared and arranged thoughtfully by the students.
The Garden and Activity Area are now one of the most attractive spots in the school. It provides students with a peaceful space to relax and also encourages them to care for plants and maintain cleanliness. This project has greatly improved the overall school environment, Gwadar Pro reported on Monday.
