102 inspectors promoted to DSP rank in Punjab Police Breaking

The Punjab Police has promoted 102 Inspectors to the rank of deputy superintendent of police (DSP) as part of an ongoing departmental promotion process. According to a spokesperson for the Punjab Police, the promotions were approved during a meeting of the promotion board held on Monday under the chairmanship of Additional Inspector General Sultan Ahmed Chaudhry. 

Of the total, 35 officiating DSPs were regularised, while 26 Inspectors were promoted on a regular basis. Additionally, 41 Inspectors have been granted officiating promotions to the DSP rank. Inspector General of Punjab Police, Dr Usman Anwar, congratulated the newly promoted officers and urged them to uphold the principles of fearless protection and selfless service to the people of Pakistan. 

The board meeting was attended by senior police officials including DIG Headquarters Muhammad Abid Khan, DIG Establishment-I Suleman Sultan Rana, DIG Special Branch, as well as representatives from the Home Department, Regulation Wing and other relevant institutions.
