23 Indian-sponsored terrorists ‘sent to hell’ in KP As many as 23 Indian-sponsored terrorists were killed in two intelligence-based operations in Kurram District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. According to an ISPR statement issued on Thursday, on 19 November 2025, 23 khwarij belonging to Indian proxy Fitna al-Khwarij were killed in two separate engagements in Kurram District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. On reported presence of Khwarij, a targeted operation was conducted by the security forces personnel. 

During the conduct of operation, security forces personnel effectively engaged the khwarij location and after an intense fire exchange, 12 khwarij were sent to hell. Capitalising on intelligence with respect to presence of another group of khwarij, in same general area, in another intelligence-based operation, own troops successfully neutralized 11 more khwarij. 

Sanitization operations were conducted to eliminate any other Indian-sponsored kharji found in the area as relentless counter-terrorism campaign under vision “Azm-e-Istehkam” (as approved by Federal Apex Committee on National Action Plan) by security forces and law enforcement agencies of Pakistan will continue at full pace to wipe out menace of foreign-sponsored and supported terrorism from the country, the ISPR statement said.

Two wanted terrorists were killed in a joint operation by Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) and police in Dera Ismail Khan. The terrorists, wanted in several cases in connection with attacks on security forces and target killings, were identified as Muhammad Sohail alias Ahmad and Azmatullah alias Hafiz. 

The joint action was carried out in Sarai Noorang area of DI Khan by a team of CTD and police personnel from Bannu and Lakki Marwat. Terrorists Azmatullah was involved in martyrdom of eight security forces personnel including DSP Gul Muhammad Khan, Constable Naseem Gul and Lieutenant Arifullah. Terrorists Muhammad Sohail was involved in martyrdom of Constable Mansoor Khan and LHC Hasim Khan.
