Twenty-eight large and small pet animals burnt to death, and all the household goods were destroyed when a massive fire broke out in a house in Talagang during Taraweeh prayers last night.The incident took place in the jurisdiction of Taman Police Station in Union Council Budhial.

The house belonged to Mohammad Awais Akhtar. All the residents of the house rushed out in a bid to save themselves from the fire.Later, residents of the area brought the fire under control on a self-help basis. The incident sparked a wave of grief and concern in the area.
