Three dacoits were killed while two senior police officers were injured condition during police encounters in Shikarpur district of Sindh.The police encounter took place in Manchar Shah area in the jurisdiction of Store Gang Police Station in which dacoits attacked a police mobile with rocket-launcher. DSP City Madam Paras Bakhrani, DSP Garhi Yaseen, and two other police personnel were also seriously injured in the firing by dacoits. 

More police and Rangers contingents rushed to the spot. During the exchange of fire, two policemen were also seriously injured and were later taken to the hospital.Panic spread in the area after the rocket-launcher attack by the dacoits. Two dacoits were arrested in an injured condition during a police encounter in Khairpur. The police team received information that some armed dacoits were committing robbery near Rashdi Gate, near the banana fields.

After noticing the police team, the dacoits started firing, during which two dacoits received serious bullet injuries. The injured dacoits were identified as Akhtiar and Abid. Police also recovered a pistol and bullets from their custody. Police said that these dacoits were facilitators of the Kucha dacoits. They were collecting extortion money from people after phone calls from kucha dacoits.
