3 die, seven rescued as cylinder blast brings down house in LahoreBreaking

Three people were dead and seven rescued when a cylinder exploded at a house in a market in Lahore on Monday morning.The incident occurred in Nadir Market, located on Pepsi Road in Harbanspura locality of Lahore. Soon after the incident, the Rescue 1122 team rushed to the spot and pulled seven people alive from under the rubble.Later, they were shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment. The rescue operation was still underway.

Earlier in October 2025, a tragic incident occurred in the Lower Mall area of Lahore when a gas cylinder exploded, killing two people, including a four-year-old girl. The deceased had been identified as Munir, aged 55, and Ailsha, aged four. A defective gas cylinder was being filled at a warehouse owned by a man named Akmal when the explosion took place. Following a complaint from a civil defence instructor, the police registered a case against three individuals: Tufail, Akmal, and Fahad.
