Three children lost their lives and five seriously injured when a dumper crushed a school van in Abbottabad on Friday. The dumper was crossing the road in front of the Federal Bureau of Revenue office at Lady Garden when the accident took place. 

Spokesperson Rescue 1122 Abbottabad said “Upon receiving the information, the rescue medical team was immediately dispatched to the accident site.”  “The bodies of the deceased, as well as the injured children, were taken to DHQ Hospital,” he said.

The driver of the dumper escaped from the scene.  Later, residents of the area staged a protest demonstration on Shahrah-e-Resham.
