After directives from Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs Junaid Anwar Chaudhry, effective measures are being adopted to clear seawater from pollution.Junaid Anwar Chaudhary said that the current government will take every possible measure for the security and a safe environment.He said that 58,000 kilograms of waste was cleared from the sea during the last two weeks.

He said that 487 personnel and 150 boats were used for the cleaning drive. Junaid Anwar Chaudhary said that waste is being disposed of after adopting safety measures.He said that plastic waste is becoming dangerous for sea life. The Maritime Minister said that the cleanliness drive will pave the way for smooth operations at the port. He said that the provision of a friendly environment is top most priority of the government.
