Adulterated milk, khoya,spices discardedBreaking

Punjab Food Authority (PFA) disposed of around 520 litres of substandard milk, 510 kilograms of khoya, and 80 kilograms of adulterated spices on Thursday during ongoing drive against the sale of impure and unsafe food items in the district. According to PFA officials, the operations, led by Director Operations South, Shehzad Khan Mugsi, along with his team were carried out in Basti Sohra Shah, Kandah Jar, and Rind Adda Ghazi Ghat areas.

The team inspected five milk collection centers, two khoya units, and one grocery store and imposed fine amounting to Rs 170,000 on the owners of five milk shops and one khoya unit,besides sealing the units. Cases were registered against the owners of a khoya unit and a grocery store.
