Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Minister for Kashmir Cause, Arts & Languages, Nabila Ayub, has said that the state government would take all necessary measures to further highlight the Kashmir cause at national and international fronts on a priority basis for its earlier resolution. The minister expressed these views while addressing a departmental briefing of the Jammu & Kashmir Liberation Cell and the Kashmir Cultural Academy held in the State metropolis at the Kashmir Policy Research Institute.
The briefing was attended by Secretary Kashmir Cause, Arts & Languages Rafiqat Hussain Khan, Director Doctor Raja Muhammad Sajjad Khan and senior officers of the ministry. Minister Nabila Ayub continued that within the available resources, the state government and ministry would make every possible effort over the next six months to achieve the required objectives set for the Liberation Cell and the Cultural Academy.
She added that with the approval of the Cabinet, necessary legislation would also be introduced in the Assembly. Furthermore, the administrative and financial requirements of the relevant departments and wings will be fulfilled to make all units more dynamic and effective. She said that the progress of all departments and staff members would be reviewed every 15 days.
The minister directed the Secretary Kashmir Cause to further activate all wings of the Liberation Cell and the Kashmir Centres established at divisional headquarters. She also instructed the organization to arrange events in all districts of Azad Kashmir under the banner of the Liberation Cell and Cultural Academy. She said that the research work of the Liberation Cell and KAC would be highlighted locally and internationally through digital, social, electronic, and print media in various languages.
