Alif Laam Meem, Milkar and Life at Lahore conducted Cultural Mural Painting at Radio PakistanBreaking

Alif Laam Meem, Milkar Pakistan and Life at Lahore conducted Mural Painting Activity at the walls of the first ever digital Museum of Radio Pakistan Islamabad. Students of various universities all over Punjab including Rawalpindi University for Women (RWU), Government College University (GCU) Lahore and National College of Arts (NCA) actively participated in this four-day activity. Syed Kashf Ahmed, Project Director Milkar Pakistan and Focal Person Life at Lahore shared that we have initiated this activity to preserve and promote Pakistan’s rich cultural heritage and the historical significance of Radio Pakistan. He added that Mural Painting has emerged as a powerful medium for youth to express themselves, engage with their communities, and create impactful public art.

Hiba Ali Gohar, Founder Alif Laam Meem shared that it's a very dynamic and empowering activity that has allowed youth to express themselves, engage with their communities, and create positive change. She added that we believe, “Hukmarani Sirf Mohabbat ki hai” and by painting the colors of Pakistan we raised the slogan of peace and unity among the youth of our beloved country. She added that we have painted the culture of all 4 provinces of Pakistan including Gilgit Baltistan; our aim is develop a sense of unity and harmony among the youth of Pakistan. Saeed Ahmad Shaikh, Director General Radio Pakistan said that we are extremely thankful to Alif Laam Meem and Milkar Pakistan for helping us in transforming these raw walls into an immaculate piece of art. The walls of the first ever Digital Museum of Pakistan, could serve as the perfect canvas for this artistic endeavor.

Hassnain Hashmi, a student from NCA shared that through this activity we have been provided a large canvas to experiment with colors, textures, and styles, and to express our individuality and creativity about the cultural portrayal of Pakistan. Sahrish, a representative from RWU said that it's a wonderful activity and we are sproud of organizations like Milkar Pakistan and Alif Laam Meem who have been struggling in making a positive impact among the society and proved that "Jo tanha nahi woh Milkar mumkin hai!
