National Highways Authority (NHA) rejecting rumors clarified on Friday that despite severe flood situation in the country, all motorways are open for traffic. According to NHA spokesperson, there is no floodwater on any motorway in the country. However, there is floodwater accumulated along the motorways at some places but there i no disruption in the flow of traffic on the motorways due to the floodwater around.  

Some irresponsible elements are spreading untrue and baseless rumours on social media.  The public is requested to believe only the news received from authentic sources.  The entire situation is being continuously monitored from the control room established at the NHA headquarters. The Chairman NHA is himself in the field to monitor the situation.
