American woman Kerinsha Madison Grace, after two years of virtual friendship, embraces Islam, and marries her Pakistani beloved Naeemul Hassan. In an extraordinary tale of love transcending borders, the 27-year-old American woman travelled all the way from South Carolina, United States, to the core of Punjab’s district of Jhang, in order to tie the knot with her 29-year-old online lover, Naeemul Hassan.  Kerinsha Madison Grace, a mother to three kids, initially connected with Naeemul Hassan two years prior through social media.

With the passage of time, the emotional connection between the two became resilient enough to defy differences, distance, and personal backgrounds. Kerinsha officially divorced her husband in the United States, took a bold step and journeyed to Pakistan, leaving behind the known comforts of her native land in search of a new life. After making it to Jhang, Kerinsha embraced Islam at Jamia Arabia Darul Huda mosque, and adopted the Islamic name ‘Kaniz Ayesha’.

She was welcomed with warmth by the local religious community of Jhang. The arrangements for the couple’s nikkah ceremony were made at the office of Advocate Amir Shehzad, with Rana Amir and few other individuals serving as witnesses to the matrimony. During the ceremony, Kaniz (formerly Madison), stated that she was deeply impacted by teachings of Islam and genuine affection of Naeemul Hassan. While beaming with happiness, she stated “I feel emotionally content and spiritually satisfied.

It was the beauty of Islam, and Naeem’s love which brought me to this place.” As both Naeem and Kaniz have entered into wedlock, the union has drawn attention in local community, where residents view it as an evidence of how strong the power of love and faith is, and how the present-day technology plays a pivotal role in connecting hearts across continents.
