Pakistan Point News-Nov, 1st , 2025) The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has recovered drugs worth over Rs11.2 million during nationwide anti-smuggling operations. According to an ANF spokesperson, five suspects were arrested in five separate operations, leading to the recovery of 108.61 kilograms of narcotics, including hashish, ice, opium, and ecstasy tablets. In Karachi’s North Nazimabad area, 36 kilograms of hashish were seized from a suspect who confessed to supplying drugs to students.
At Islamabad Airport, narcotics hidden inside a dough mixer were recovered from a passenger bound for Dubai, including 1.7 kilograms of ice and 480 ecstasy tablets. In Lahore, 70 grams of hashish were found in shoes inside a parcel destined for Dubai, while in Karachi’s Sohrab Goth area, 45.6 kilograms of hashish were recovered from a vehicle. Additionally, 25 kilograms of opium were seized near Sher Shah Toll Plaza in Multan. Cases have been registered under the Anti-Narcotics Act 1997, and investigations are underway.
