Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) conducted 7 operations across the country against drug traffickers and recovered over 153 kg drugs worth more than Rs 14.4 million while four accused were also rounded up during the operations. According to an ANF Headquarters spokesman, in an operation at a courier office in Chaklala, Rawalpindi, 556 grams ice was recovered from internet devices in a parcel booked for America. In another operation at Chaklala, 10 Vapes filled with hashish oil weighing 248 grams were recovered from a parcel arrived from the UK.
In Sambarial, District Sialkot, 9.6 kgs opium, 7.2 kgs hashish, 2 kg ice and 1 kg heroin were recovered from the possession of 2 accused riding a motorcycle. Near a bus terminal in Sialkot, 12 kg hashish was also recovered from 2 accused riding a motorcycle. In Shahkas District, Khyber, 108 kgs hashish was recovered from a vehicle while in 7th operation conducted near Haji Camp, Peshawar, 2 kgs hashish was recovered from an unattended bag. The spokesman informed that separate cases have been registered against the accused under the CNSA-1997.
