A delegation of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference-AJK chapter met Chaudhry Muhammad Yasin, President of the Pakistan Peoples Party Azad Jammu and Kashmir, at his residence in Islamabad to brief him on the worsening situation in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
The delegation highlighted ongoing human rights violations and the suffering of Kashmiri people, urging Chaudhry Yasin to continue raising the Kashmir issue at national and international forums and to press the international community to ensure the implementation of UN resolutions on the dispute. They also appreciated the historic role of the Pakistan Peoples Party in championing Kashmir at both domestic and global levels.
Chaudhry Yasin reaffirmed the party’s commitment to the cause, invoking the vision of PPP founder Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, who pledged to fight for Kashmir for a thousand years. He assured full participation of PPP AJK in the rally scheduled for 10 December 2025 in Kotli, Azad Kashmir, to protest human rights abuses in IIOJK, sending a strong message to India that the party will not compromise on the Kashmir issue.
He paid tribute to the sacrifices of the Kashmiri people and lauded the APHC for its steadfast struggle despite severe repression by Indian forces. The APHC delegation was led by Convener Ghulam Muhammad Safi and included General Secretary Advocate Pervaiz Ahmed, Shaikh Abdul Mateen, Shaikh Abdul Majid, Shaikh Yaqoob, Raja Khadim Hussain, Muhammad Ashraf Dar, and Haji Sultan Butt.
