ATC issues non-bailable arrest warrants for 3 individuals accused of May 9 protest caseBreaking

An anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Peshawar has issued non-bailable arrest warrants for three individuals accused of involvement in the May 9 protest case. As per details, the accused Abdul Rehman, Abdul Jabbar Baghi, and Latif Ali, who failed to appear in court, will now be arrested and presented before the court. The May 9 protests in Peshawar were marked by violence and destruction of private and public property, resulting in the loss of one life. The case has been adjourned until October 19, and Provincial Minister Meena Khan Afridi is also named in the case. Earlier, the Anti-Terrorism Court acquitted all 18 accused, including PTI workers, in the May 9 riots case due to lack of evidence.
