After snowfall in Mansehra, Babusar Top Road and Naran Jhalkhud Road were completely closed for all types of traffic.According to police spokesperson, tourists and travelers going to Gilgit in extremely low temperatures were instructed to use alternate route Silk Road.Mansehra Police has also temporarily removed police check posts from Gatidas, Jhalkhad and Besar.

The decision to remove the Mansehra police check posts was taken in view of the severe weather conditions.  All hotels and restaurants from Mansehra Barwai to Babusar Top have also been completely closed. However, tourists can now travel from Naran to Barwa.
