The Balochistan government has imposed a one-year ban on the cutting of trees across the province. According to a notification issued by the Forest and Wildlife Department, the ban covers the felling, collection, and transportation of protected trees throughout Balochistan. The restriction has been enforced under the Balochistan Forest Act 2022 and will remain in effect for one year or until further orders are issued by the government. Authorities concerned have been directed to ensure strict implementation of the notification.
