BISEs across Punjab announces results for class 9th annual examinations Breaking

The Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) across Punjab have officially announced the results for the class 9th annual examinations.  In Lahore, the results were declared by Rizwan Nazir, Secretary of the Lahore Board, and Tauseef-ur-Rehman, Controller of Examinations.  According to the Lahore board, a total of 308,073 students appeared for the class 9 exams.

Of these, 138,894 candidates passed, bringing the overall pass percentage to 45.08.  In the Science Group, a total of 235,247 candidates appeared for the exams, out of which 111,681 passed. This reflects a pass percentage of 47.47%.  In the Arts Group, 72,826 candidates appeared, and 27,213 were declared successful, resulting in a pass percentage of 37.37pc.. 

The overall pass percentage among girls was recorded at 53.83pc, significantly higher than boys, who achieved a pass percentage of 35.33%.  Officials noted that girls continued to outperform boys, with a significantly higher pass rate. The Science Group also maintained a higher success rate compared to the Arts Group.
