Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi held a meeting with British Member of Parliament (MP) Lord Shafaq Mohammad in Islamabad on Monday.During the meeting, both dignitaries exchanged views of mutual interest. Mohsin Naqvi said that Pakistan gave special importance to its ties with the United Kingdom.The Interior Minister said that the Pakistani community living in the United Kingdom plays the role of a bridge for strengthening the ties between the two countries.
He said that criminal activities in any part of the world by Pakistani citizens are condemnable acts and it is our responsibility to take them back, but those persons who have left their Pakistani nationality do not fall in this net. Lord Shafaq Mohammad assured Mohsin Naqvi his full support for strengthening relations between the two countries.Secretary Interior Mohammad Khurram Agha, Deputy Commissioner Islamabad, and other officials were also present on the occasion.
