University of Management Technology (UMT) Chairman Ibrahim Hassan Murad called on veteran politician and PML-Q chief Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain in Lahore on Saturday to inquire about his health and discuss promotion of technical education in the country. Punjab Minister for Industries and Trade Chaudhry Shafay Hussain was also present during the meeting.

UMT Chairman Ibrahim Hassan Murad also apprised Chaudhary Shujaat Hussain about the teaching process of different technical courses in the University. Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain said that the future of Pakistani youth is linked to technical education. He said that if we educate our youth technically, then their future will become bright. He said that the government and the private sector should join hands for the promotion of technical education.
