On the special instructions of Deputy Commissioner Astore, Muhammad Owais Abbasi, a cleanliness drive was launched at tourist spots in Subdivision Shounter. Under the supervision of Assistant Commissioner Shounter, Tanveer Ahmed, Chief Officer District Council Astore Shafiq Ahmed, Headmaster of High school Chilim, officials from the Tourism Department, Waste Management staff, Tourist Police Incharge, police personnel from the local police post, students of Chilim School, and a large number of local residents participated in the campaign.

During the cleanliness drive, garbage was collected and removed from both sides of the Chilim Bazaar to the Chilim Hospital. On this occasion, Assistant Commissioner Shounter, Tanveer Ahmed, while addressing the participants, said that keeping tourist sites clean is a joint responsibility of the District Administration Astore, the public, and tourists. He appealed to the general public and visitors to keep tourist spots clean and to refrain from littering in these areas.
