Punjab Caretaker Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi has expressed his annoyance over inappropriate health facilities and non-provision of medicines to patients at Government Teaching Hospital Shahdara (GTHS). During visit of the hospital on Tuesday, the caretaker chief minister observed the situation at various wards during which patients, attendants lodged dozens of complaints besides showing him the bills of the medicines purchased outside the hospital. Noting the situation, Mohsin Naqvi expressed his discontent and said that he can never expect of such misconduct with the patients at a government hospital. He directed the provincial minister Specialized Healthcare and Vice Chancellor Fatima Jinnah Medical University to reach the GTHS and observe the situation themselves. The caretaker chief minister was also accompanied by Commissioner Lahore Muhammad Ali Randhawa and Deputy Commissioner Lahore Rafia Haider during the visit.
