Continuous rainfall in the scenic region of Galiyat has led to multiple incidents of landslides and falling rocks from the surrounding mountains, causing disruptions to traffic flow at various points along key roads here on Wednesday. Traffic police have urged both tourists and local residents to exercise extreme caution. In an official advisory, travelers have been strongly directed to avoid unnecessary travel to Galiyat.
However, those who must travel are instructed to strictly adhere to issued safety guidelines. To ensure public safety and provide assistance, traffic wardens have been stationed at several critical points along the Galiyat route. The district administration has also activated a 24/7 helpline (1915) for information and emergency support. Officials emphasized that public cooperation is vital in preventing accidents during this period of unpredictable weather.
