Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan has said that Chaudhry Nisar is a great politician and the country still needs him.   Sardar Saleem Haider Khan was addressing the launch ceremony of senior journalist Nawaz Raza's book "Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, Government, Opposition and Parliament Ki Rodad" at Idara Farogh Urdu in Islamabad on Tuesday. 

He said, "Chaudhry Nisar is the elder of our family, he is our respect and his democratic character is transparent." He said Chaudhry Nisar is a brave personality and despite political differences, he respects him. He said the life of a politician is an open book and Chaudhry Nisar's life is clean as he has not been accused of corruption till date.   

The Governor said no one can point a finger at his character, his public popularity was such that he became a member of the National Assembly five times in a row and held important positions. The Governor also paid tribute to Nawaz Raza for writing a book on the personality of Chaudhry Nisar. The ceremony was also addressed by Nayyar Hussain Bukhari, Zamrad Khan, Liaquat Baloch, Javed Hashmi and others.
