Adviser to Prime Minister Rana Sanaullah expressed on Friday that the Court's verdict regarding Faiz Hameed's case is an important example of military accountability. In an exclusive interview with a private news channel, Sanaullah said that everyone, regardless of their position, must face the law and described it as "a consequence of actions".He highlighted that it serves as a reminder that no one is exempt from accountability.
He also expressed his respect for the Armed Forces, acknowledging that their trust and credibility have been further solidified. At the same time, he criticized Faiz Hameed, suggesting that his actions had a negative impact on the country's stability. He remarked that Faiz Hameed and others in similar positions should take this as a lesson, emphasizing the importance of accountability and the consequences of actions that affect the nation’s stability.
In response to another question, he claimed that Faiz Hameed pursued his personal agenda alongside his official duties. To another question, he replied that the country's interests should come first, whether it involves any political party or individual, and added that the well-being and stability of the nation should always take precedence over personal or political agendas.
