The district police have arrested three suspects involved in a murder case stemming from a land dispute.  According to police spokesman, the arrests were made in a successful operation in the Paharpur circle in connection with an incident that occurred on March 25, 2026, in the village of Khanu Khel.  The suspects—identified as Iftikhar, Saddam, and Suleman, belonging to the Kallu tribe—were taken into custody. 

The police also recovered the weapon used in the crime and have launched further investigations.  The operation was conducted under the directives of the District Police Officer, led by the SP Paharpur, DSP Paharpur, and SHO Paharpur.  The DSP Paharpur Hafiz Muhammad Adnan Khan said that actions against elements disturbing peace in the area would continue without discrimination, and no criminal will be allowed to escape the law.
