The Dera police conducted a comprehensive review of security arrangements at various churches in the city ahead of Christmas celebrations to ensure a safe and peaceful environment for worshippers. Following the directives of District Police Officer Sajjad Ahmed Sahibzada, DSP Minority & Security Siddiq Ullah Khan, along with DSP Headquarters Sharif Ullah Khan, visited different churches in Dera.
During the visits, the officers inspected the deployment of police personnel, checked entry and exit points, and reviewed the overall security measures in place. The DSPs issued clear instructions to the officers and personnel on duty to remain vigilant, closely monitor suspicious individuals and activities, ensure effective patrolling, and perform their duties with honesty and dedication.
They emphasized that all possible measures must be taken to provide complete security and a peaceful atmosphere to the Christian community during Christmas celebrations.
