An exchange of gunfire took place between Takhtbhai police and a drug dealer in Mardan district, resulting in the arrest of a wanted suspect in an injured condition.Police spokesman during an exchange of gunfire between Takhtbhai Police and a drug dealer, a wanted suspect was arrested while injured.SHO Iqbal Hussain Khan were on patrol in the Tor Dher area on Branch Road when they signaled a suspicious motorcyclist to stop.

Upon seeing the police approaching, the suspect abandoned his motorcycle and suddenly opened fire on the police in an attempt to avoid arrest. The police responded with effective retaliatory action in self-defense.As a result of the exchange of fire, the suspect was injured and arrested.He was immediately shifted to the hospital while in police custody. 

The arrested injured suspect was identified as Dawood alias Laddu, son of Jahanzeb, a resident of Iran Abad Parahoti. During the operation, police recovered one pistol, 2,050 grams of hashish, and a motorcycle from the suspect’s possession. A review of records revealed that the arrested suspect has been involved in serious crimes such as attempted murder, drug dealing, and illegal possession of weapons, and that a total of 10 cases are registered against him at various police stations.
