In the area of Kotli Gul Muhammad, within the jurisdiction of Kamonki Sadar Police Station, gunfire was exchanged between the Anti-Narcotics Force and drug dealers, resulting in four deaths. A retired police officer, Tanveer, was caught in the crossfire while leaving his residence with his sister. He was fatally shot on the spot, while his sister sustained serious injuries. During the exchange of fire, three drug dealers were killed, while three of their accomplices managed to escape. A large contingent of Gujranwala police arrived and secured the scene.
