Former Punjab Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Aamir Zulfiqar escaped unhurt in a traffic mishap near Pindi Bhattian on Tuesday. The former IGP was on his way to Islamabad along with his driver when his car met with an accident. 

Sources said that the incident occurred as an animal suddenly appeared in front of the car on the road. The driver of the car received critical injuries, while Aamir Zulfiqar remained safe miraculously. Sources further said that after receiving the report Motorway Police rushed to the spot and shifted the injured driver to hospital.
