Expansion projevts of Data Darbar Complex reviewed  Breaking

Commissioner of Lahore Division Marryam Khan visited the Data Darbar Complex to review the progress of ongoing development and expansion projects, here on Tuesday. She also chaired a meeting to evaluate the proposed plans for the complex and its surrounding areas. Upon arrival, Commissioner Marryam Khan offered prayers at the shrine and inspected the entire complex. Secretary Auqaf Punjab Syed Tahir Raza Bukhari briefed the commissioner on the latest progress.

During the review meeting, representatives from the relevant departments shared detailed presentations on the expansion and development proposals. The commissioner examined proposals for a signal-free corridor, improved traffic flow, and extension plans around the shrine. She also directed the preparation of an operational plan for the relocation of the van stand, bird market, and dumping site located near the shrine. Commissioner Maryam Khan said Data Darbar is a spiritual center for millions across South Asia, attracting devotees in large numbers every day.

She emphasized that all development works must be executed according to the highest standards to ensure convenience and better facilities for visitors. She also inspected the green belt in front of the complex and reviewed facilities for pedestrian access and public movement. The meeting was attended by Deputy Commissioner Lahore Syed Musa Raza, GM NESPAK, CEO LWMC, CO MCL, AC City, Administrator Data Darbar, and other officers.
