FC headquarters to be shifted from Peshawar to IslamabadBreaking

The federal government has decided in principle to shift the headquarters of the Federal Constabulary (FC) from Peshawar to Islamabad. In this regard, a meeting was held at the CDA headquarters in Islamabad on Saturday under the chairmanship of Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, in which instructions were given to identify land for the new headquarters and seek a masterplan. 

Mohsin Naqvi said that while identifying the land, the needs of the headquarters and training should be kept in mind and the Federal Constabulary would be built on modern foundations and made an active force.

The meeting was attended by Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry and other high-ranking officials including Federal Secretary Interior, Commandant and Deputy Commandant Federal Constabulary, Chairman CDA, IG Islamabad Police and DC Islamabad.
